The Translational and Molecular Medicine Students’ Association (TMMSA) is the student-run governing body representing all students in the Translational and Molecular Medicine (TMM) program at the University of Ottawa. Established in April 2017 following the program’s inaugural year, TMMSA is composed of six executive members, six coordinators, and two third-year representatives. Together, our council strives to enhance the TMM student experience through academic representation, mentorship, professional opportunities, and community events.
The TMM program, housed within the Faculty of Medicine, provides students with a strong foundation in biomedical sciences while fostering critical thinking and hands-on laboratory expertise. Its goal is to equip future scientists with the research and problem-solving skills necessary to excel in translational and cutting-edge biomedical research.
